More than advertised

Yes it is just a replacement filter. This filter is actually made for more than the largest Honeywell filter. Sections can be used for more than one smaller filter or only one for largest filter wrap-around. It also works on other products when cut to shape.

These work better than cheaper generic ones

I came back to these name branded after trying some cheaper generic carbon filters. The generic filters had inconsistent thickness, and were a pain to cut to size. These come scored so you can just tear them to the right size.

Not much you can say about this product. You need it, it works, it's easy to use. No problems.

A bit of a pain to replace, but otherwise seems to do the trick

My filter unit had the pre-filter replacement light on for a while and I finally remembered to hop on Amazon and order a replacement. The process of trimming the filter material to fit is rather a pain and leaves charcoal dust on whatever surface you use, so I'm knocking a point off for that. But the old filter was caked in pet fur and dust so I guess it is doing the job.
