a nice extra potty

My son actually prefers this small potty over his larger, cushie seat Graco model. However, I don't feel it's all that easy to empty. There's not a pouring spout like on his other potty (nor could there be by its design). The poop and pee pour out okay but in doing so it's all pouring over the part of the potty where the kid sits. Ew. I guess you're just supposed to clean it real well after a poop which is easy enough to do. It's just differenet that what I was used to (a removable "pail" for the poop and pee). The potty is very small and lightweigt, so much so that my son tends to scoot it around the bathroom or try and pick it up while he's using it so that's created some "user errors". I like the price and my son seems very comfortable on it though. Its best feature by far is the molded pee guard. It's just part of the potty and will not get in the way of your child using the potty or catch your son's privates the way some other pee guards will. If your child is very big you might want to consider a different potty as this one is quite low and smallish, but I think that what seems too small from an adult's point of view might seem just fine to a kid. It might be small, but it's big enough and many kids who are nervous about using a potty might feel more secure nice and low where they feel like they can easily get up and down.

i didn't realize how little these were. i have them in both bathrooms for my granddaughter who is 18 mo old. she does use them but does have difficulty getting up afterwards. i am trying to figure out how to prop them up so it will be easier for her. i bought the larger one which is great but i gave it to her parents

worked for a while

i bought this potty when i was trying to potty train my 6 month old. i worked well because it is very small and she was able to put her feet on the floor which made her more comfortable. by the time she was 1 yr old i had to buy a larger one.

great! easy to clean, my son knew what to do immediately

This little potty is little, but it is great! Easy to clean out, no parts to fit together etc... We got this in the mail, took it out of the box, sat our 15 month old son on it, and there he went! He has to sit back towards the back so that when he pees it doesn't shoot out though. Low to the ground so it encourages a more natural (and healthy) squat position. Green color is much nicer than it appears in the picture.

Great price, super-cute, just really small

I bought this potty after reading the reviews and trying to decide on the little or big potty. I didn't think the small one would be a problem, since my 18-month old son is on the small side. However, after receiving it, I would only recommend this potty to those who are doing EC or for travel. My son seems to like it, but he looks huge on it and it will not last for long. It also slides all over the tile floor like someone mentioned. I really wish I would have bought the Bjorn big potty.
