A must have on your game shelf....

This game is great. We initially purchased it because of the name, it's a family inside joke. Anyway, once we received it and played it, we had a blast. It's like Boggle in many ways, but much better. Plus, the scoring system limits you to only five 3 and 4 letter words, so it adds an extra level of difficulty to the game. If you like word games, you'll LOVE Perquackey!

Perquackey/word game:: Mother, daughter, son and niece, from ages 16 to 65, played the game tonight and loved it! I have the version from 1970 in the little cardboard box..the score sheets are faded yellow and i am missing one red dye. A good time was had by all. Can one get replacement parts? Need a new timer and one red cube!

The best word game ever!!

This is better than scrabble. It is a high speed word forming game. Great for all ages and the whole family. You can help a child build their vocabulary or just have great fun forming 3-10 letter words.

Stimulating and fast word game

I have just bought this product for a friend having had my own game for years. In my opinion it's much more fun than other word games like Scrabble or Boggle because you're playing against the timer and there is a skill in getting bonuses. You can play a complete match in under half an hour but it's very addictive. I recommend this game very highly.

One minor quibble is that I think the new packaging is ridiculous. The extraordinary-shaped tin is far too large for the contents and doesn't close very well. The previous boxed version was much more sensible.

Unfortunately this game is not available in the UK so I got this on a recent trip to the States, where I first bought my own game. Next time I think I'll get half a dozen as gifts.
