Good Device

It's a good device. My only complaint is that it is a large device. That is the only thing I have to not rate it as a GREAT product. Having that said, I really like the function of it storing 7 previous days steps walked. It automatically starts a new day. (You have to have the Time set right though ... seems I missed that step for the first few days. [laughs]) If your out for a brisk walk some time durring the day it will track those steps seprately in its Aerobic Mode for you. You will only get to see those for the day tracking today. The memory doesn't keep those. I'm not sure that one would want that but I find it nice to know for instance my day consisted of 10,000 total steps and 6000 of them were aerobic.

I purchased my Omron HJ-112 pedometer about 3 weeks ago.

I was pleasantly surprised how easily I put in miles walking around Manhattan.

It's really accurate. I'd forgotten that I had it on and I walked home from work. It kept track of my steps count, mileage, aerobic steps, time of aerobic walking. My goal has been to get 10K steps per day. I've been walking with the Omron HJ-112 in my purse at work and track my steps there too. Very accurate.

I'm picky and a number of so-called free pedometers that were not worth even being free. This pedometer is spot on.

I'm speaking with co-workers and convincing them to get this because they, too, have been disappointed with the freebies that only count steps or give inaccurate readings.

Worked so well - I bought a second

This is exactly what I was looking for. Although, I wish it were a tad smaller - it's kind of bulky to clip to my pants. It counts your steps, has a clock, and lets you know how many steps you have walked for seven days. I also like the aerobic steps setting so I know exactly how much time I've spent and how many steps I've taken on the treadmill. I had to buy the second one because I dropped the first one so many times - it messed the screen up - I kept knocking it off my pants. This may sound silly ladies - but - I now clip it to the center of my bra!

I love this pedometer

This is the third pedometer I have had and by far the best. I would have given it five stars but as others have noted, the display does not turn off and I expect the battery will go out at around the 6 month mark. It is really easy to set up and use, and it has been pretty accurate.
