Incredibly convenient

I LOVE this thermometer. I have five children, and don't have to worry about sterilizing the thermometer between uses. It's so much easier to get a temperature while hugging and rocking a sick baby than with a rectal thermomter!

Tnis is my favorite baby gift, too. Even if the family has other children, they don't have THIS!

My Doctor Liked It

I read some of the negative reviews and I am very surprised. It may not be the fastest one on the market. My child's doctor will not take a reading from an ear thermometer even though they are faster and easier. I brought this to the doctor and the hospital with my son and both the doctor and the hospital liked it a lot. I am very happy with it.

For children ages 2 to 6 who are too young for oral thermometers, this underarm model works accurately to within +/? 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit. The unique ComfortDisc design comprises two round flat disks turned at an angle to each other, one with a partial metal loop that snuggles under the arm in what?s known as the hotspot, and one that features an on/off button and the easy-to-read LCD display. After four to five minutes the thermometer beeps, signaling that the temperature reading is completed. In order to track the course of a fever, the memory recall function lets you compare the child?s current temperature with the previous reading. Waterproof, the thermometer cleans with soap and water or rubbing alcohol, while soft finger-grips on the sides offer a secure grip.
