First home theater purchase, wouldn't go back!

I have always looked at these speakers at Best Buy and I had only heard them once and they sounded amazing, and on black friday (but for the internet) these were $200 on Amazon so I had to purchase it. Later on I bought a really nice Denon AVR-2310Ci receiver for about $480 on Crutchfield and I got a Klipsch Synergy Sub-10 off Craigslist and I gotta say, the setup sounds amazing. Bose can't even touch this setup and I spent less than $1000 on everything!

Simply great speakers

Having been a big fan of Polk Audio speakers for years, I'm always quite demanding about sound quality. These beauties from Klipsch produce top quality sound for mid-range money. You won't be disappointed. While they produce good bass for satelite surround speakers, you'll definitely want a good sub-woofer to complement them.

Excellent sound!

I bought this set of speaker with Onkyo TX-SR507 receiver together. It is really amazing that such small speakers can deliver very good quality sound. Love it so much!

They're the bees knees

I was brand spankin' new to surround sound when I bought these for $200 in Nov 2009 (Xmas sale. If you see these for sale $300 or below, snag em). I haven't figured out how to get surround sound from cds yet (my fault, haven't made time to do it) but so far this thing rocks for movies. The highest I've cranked them is 1/3 of how high the volume goes and that's plenty. I used these alone for 2 months b4 I added a subwoofer, and the subwoofer really 'completes' the surround sound experience. I have my sub set at 1/4 its maximum volume. I have the Polk PSW10 subwoofer and a Sony STR-DH800 receiver.

Great Speakers

Great set of speakers. Mounted them to the walls. Make sure you loosen the screws before you adjust the feet. If you don't loosen them you will strip the screws and the speakers will sag under their own weight. I had to put super glue on them to keep them up and havent had an issue since.
