Great series

Great series, enjoyed little house on the prarie since I was a little girl and I am an adult now and still love it.

Classic Nostalgia

I bought this for my wife, who faithfully watches Little House re-runs at 4:00 p.m. every afternoon. I grew up watching this program, back in the days when "wholesome" and "family values" were not cliches, but part of the fabric of American culture. My children love this show as well. If you enjoyed this show when it originally aired in the 70's, or if you are looking for a family safe alternative to the trashy, irreverant, sarcastic tripe that is on the air now, you cannot go wrong by purchasing not just this set, but the entire collection.

Fabulous! How much more wholesome can you get in today's world?!? I bought my 8 year old daughter the first season last year after she became hooked on the book series. Having never seen the TV show, I thought she'd like to see what the characters looked like. She loved it so much her brother bought her season 2 for Christmas.
