EASY Aerobics - EXCELLENT for Beginners
This is a simple, low-impact workout set to nice, light jazzy background music. The instructor leads the workout in "real time" (no voiceovers), and she has a pleasant, non-intimidating personality. The
easy
moves she uses to get
your
heartrate up include marching in place, stepping side-to-side, low kicks, and mambos (moving forward and backward with one foot, then the other.) Hard-core cardio addicts will find this pretty dull, but it is a PERFECT workout for beginning or overweight exercisers; it's also nice for intermediate exercisers who want a "
down
day!"

could have been great
This exercise routine would be really great but falls short in one major area. Anyone familiar with aerobics classes know the step sequences always begin on the first beat of the musical eight count, not the second or third as on this dvd. Most of Miribai's routine is awkward and irritating to follow because of this. Too bad the sound mixer didn't pick up on this and coordinate the music. Could have been great.
Slow down your aging clock
This is such a nice workout DVD. The music is great, it's soothing and perky at the same time.

Holland
has a pleasant and relaxed approach and but does a very thorough whole body workout. She even includes pelvic floor exercises (Kegels )a really important muscle group for women which is usually ignored.
I find I'm drawn to turning it on and doing it,and that's half the battle! I recommend it highly.

Fabulous Forever - Easy Aerobics
I have become an avid fan of
Mirabai
Holland
. Note: I am 65 years old and have lost quite a bit of muscle strength over the years -- although by 65 year old standards, I'm not in bad shape but find that I have become unable to do the things I love to do and want badly to change that. Mirabai is calm, warm and deliberate and obviously knows her stuff. I like her personality a lot. The pace starts just a bit fast for my ability but within a couple sessions I find that I am caught up. Her strength training video is where I first began and I was amazed at how quickly I felt better/stronger all over! Her approach to exercise for my segment of the population is a true gift. I am so pleased to see such progress and have earmarked several other of her video titles and put them on my wishlist. I figure that the diversity will keep me going.
