Genius!

When i purchased these Coby speakers, i had no idea of the impact they would have have on my life. I used these little beauties when i was recording away from home - and they served me well - they also baffled and amazed my friends with their sheer volume considering they don't need external power (or batteries). I still can't believe they cost only $7!

Better than the best speakers $8 can buy.

Like the other reviewer, I was amazed at the volume and quality of the sound coming out of such inexpensive speakers. I am using them at the office to hear music through my PC. No doubt if the purpose was home listening, I might want speakers with a more substantial bass range. But for my purpose they are perfect. They are made even more compact by the fact that I don't have to also have a power unit for them; like most computer speakers.
