Good deal for the tall man

I'm 6'4" and seems to be just about perfect for me.I haven't used a rope for about 20 years and as expected it is very challenging and provides the intense work out I am looking for. With the price in mind I don't think there could be anything better. If I break this one in well I may look for a weighted rope in the future but would expect to pay more.

The rope itself is okay. Nothing really outstanding. I had a tough time adjusting the rope to my size because the end cap didn't want to come off, but it's all good.
Overall, it's a god jump rope. :)

Here's a tip on how to get those stubborn metal clamps out of the handle

For those of you who have already bought this item, I found that this helped me in trying to push the rope through the handle: Have a bright light above you so that you can easily look down the handle and see the metal clamp. The clamp is a circular or oval shape and the trick is to tilt the clamp enough to get one side through the narrow passage in order to allow yourself to easily push the rope through the handle. I achieved this by twisting the rubber rope so that I could get the metal clamp in different positions and eventually I got a piece of the clamp through the passage. You will be able to see it when you get the clamp at such an angle that one side is already halfway through the hole. Then, all you have to do is push the rope against the handle as hard as you can. The clamp will come out and then you can get on with your business in readjusting the rope length.

Aside from some difficulty in adjusting the rope length, this jump rope does the job fine and it fully met my expectations from a jump rope.

I had a old jump rope a professional boxer gave me

I'm turning 21 and I'm skinny (125 pounds) so I was trying to gain weight and I never did any cardio... tried to sit around since i'm so active... My cardio sucks the jump rope the professional boxer gave I could barely do it. I sucked at jumping rope so bad my girlfriend was laughing in tears... and she took a video of me, when I bought this jumprope it was a lot easier to use and now I'm getting alright at it. I'm in a lot better shape then I was at before. Just can't give up, got to do it daily. Eatting right helps too.
