highly recommended

Love it!!!

I have gone through numerous food processors over the years and although they did the job well enough, I always has some sort of complaint. Too big, too loud, cheap plastic parts, etc. Anyway, I was in the market for a new one after my last one broke in half so I started my research which led me to this one. I ordered this based on other reviews and the brand name. I crossed my fingers and hoped I would not hate it and have to send it back.

When I removed it from the box, the first thing I noticed was the color. I love black, and even though I had seen it online, it was so much nicer in my possession. The second thing was the weight....dang, it is heavy. But unlike a few other reviewers, i like the weight. It's not like one can't lift it or anything, and it brings with it a certain sense of quality. At least for me it does. I love the fact that it comes with two different sized bowels. One for say chopping garlic or onions which we do a lot of around here, and another, larger one that holds more. It does not leak liquid at all, plus it is very powerful and very quiet. Quite honestly, I am in love with this food processor. It is good looking, not too big and clunky and for under $100.00 I do not think one can beat it on any level. I for one, am extremely happy that I choose this.

huge time saver, works great

This is one great product. Aside from being pleasantly surprised that the black version was $30 cheaper than the red or white ones, this a terrific food processor. The 3 cup bowl is perfect for small dishes and cooking for 2. Assembly and clean-up are both a snap. I would definitely recommend this product.

spillage - operator error?

i saw a number of reviews complaining of spillage due to the blade not coming down far enough over the shaft and i am thinking they were using the mini blade with the large bowl. i used this for a number of things over the course of thanksgiving preparations, and did not experience any leakage or spillage despite the fact that i was definitely overfilling the bowl with liquids.

very quiet, fast, powerful. all in all i am extremely happy with this food processor, and like it much better than the hamilton beach food processors i have used in the past.

Food processor

I REALLY like this food processor. I went back and forth on this one and the Cuisinart, but this one got better reviews overall. It works GREAT! It is easy to clean, easy to store and I use it about 3-4 times a week. I can easily hide veges in my kids foods now because I can make them super tiny and hard to spot! And the black means you can't see stains from carrots! This is a great buy!
