Low cost video light solution

I have used this video light for past 3 years.
Just like all light sources, this one has distance
limitation too. As long as your shooting object is
not more than 5 ~ 6 feet away, you will get decent
video footage.

Tbis vidoe light comes with it's own battery (not
using your camcorder's battery) and it sits on your
camera's flashlight hot-shoe (or cold-shoe). By
giving out the strong light, it consumes battery fast.
One charge can last around 15 minutes. The battery
charge time is 4.5 hours. I keep two of this video
lights, with one always in fully charged mode.

The price is good. For in-door family vidoe taking,
video light is a must for better video quality. And
this one is a good bargain.

For rating, if the battery life can be longer, I will
give it 5 starts.

Life is too short because it is only 17 minutes at a time for 5 hours of charging. Lights up my entire street at night though. VERY POWERFUL

Light works great

I am very happy with the light. I purchased a 2nd one for a backup due to the relatively short use period before a recharge is need (about 15 min.). But, for the brightness of the light I can see why. If you are too close to your subject the light does have a beam effect. Over 4-5 feet aways seems to work best for an overall enhancement of the lighting.

Extra light on my videos gives a better look. Didn't mind buying a second light because it didn't cost much and I don't have the cord to worry with anymore.

Excellent product for a small price!

I have been comparing lighting packs for several weeks. I purchased some very expensive light packs but I was not satisfied. These lights have a long charge time but the light they put out is very bright and way more powerful than the more expensive ones. They only have about a 15 minute life span so I suggest buying a couple to have on hand. I purchased a very inexpensive arm attachment that screwed on to the bottom of my camera. I than place the flash on the arms hot shoe. The power is simply activated by pressing a trigger on the light. This is an excellent product, I highly reccomend.
