Great case!

This is a great case that protects my DSCL1 very well. Nice and compact, not bulky at all and fits perfectly! The leather is soft but it is hard enough to withstand impact. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn't have a pocket for memory sticks.

Excellent

- Stiff attractive leather case contours the camera perfectly and protects it against knocks and scratches to the LCD screen.
- Includes a belt loop.
- When attached to belt, the camera slides into case like a gun slides into a holster. A stiff leather strap wraps itself over the top and snaps in place. Therefore there is a small gap at the top- so you probably don't want to have this out in the rain.

this is a rock solid (literally) case that can take a fall. the only thing is that there is just a strap at the top that is only about 1.5 cm wide... with a few improvements this could be the best case in the world!!!

GREAT but could be improved...

I was looking for a case to protect my Sony DSC-L1. Local sales representatives kept reccomending the universal case for Cybershots, but the L1 was too small and kept moving around in the cases they showed me. Low and behold, I found this Carying Case from Sony. Don't be fooled by the name of the case. The material that it is made of is stiff and maintains its shape. The camera slips in nicely, and the case does not add much to its size. I don't use the belt loop. I place the camera in the case and place it in either my pocket or bag. I find that there is less dust on the camera. I feel safe now that my camera is in the Sony LCS-LA Soft Leather Carrying Case.
