Fun New Toy

Just wanted a new kitchen toy to play with. A friend of mine joined me on the first attempt to make gluten and dairy free ice cream - we are still working on the recipe but are having no problem finding taste testers. Made white peach sorbet that turned out fabulous. You do have to have the inside bowl completely frozen in order for your ice cream to freeze up.

Ordered this for MYSELF for Father's Day and have been having a great time with it ever since. I tried several of the recipes that came with the maker and they have all been very good. Straight forward operation, similar noise to any electric ice cream maker, and a container that doesn't take up much space in the freezer. What's not to like with this machine? Try it and you'll like it.

BTW, Amazon reviews are the "cat's meow" and because of them I bought this unit. I head to the reviews whenever I am thinking of purchasing anything. You'll learn the "good, the bad, and the ugly" about most products. Thanks to all!!

Love that Gelato!

This is a wonderful product. I don't normally do reviews, but this machine is worth it. I had an ice cream machine years ago that was a pain to use. This one is so simple and makes delicious gelato. I haven't made ice cream in it yet, but I loved this machine so much that I bought one for my daughter. She said that the ice cream is wonderful. She also thought that it was very easy to use. There are so many recipes out there for delicious ice cream and gelato. If you buy ice cream or gelato from a store - stop it! This is SO much better.

Bought this about two years ago. Now I can't live without it. It's almost faster to make 1/2 gallon ice cream than to run to store and buy it. Best part is, this ice cream is better, by far. Would recommend to anyone who likes ice cream.
