Neato!

I just purchased these after going through soooo many pairs where the ear buds would not stay in my ears. That is very frustrating.

These were very reasonably priced and the sound quality is superb. So far, I am very very pleased with these headphones.

The quality and comfort for the price is really excellent

I have used numerous over-the-ear varieties of headphones, as I find behind-the-neck sets much of the time to be uncomfortable for me, as are most in-the-ear pods.

The sound quality of these inexpensive headphones is very impressive. It is what one might expect from this particular company, however in this case it exceeded even my expectations, using primarily 192-kbps guitar-rock mp3 files. The bass is very impressive for the small size, and the maximum volume level is far greater than many comparable sets of similar price. This is important in very noisy settings, which is where I typically use these. The ear-fitting itself does not cancel out much sound, it is the volume while playing that does.

The rubber fitting and 3-to-4 foot wire all facilitate quick placement and removal at the gym, or in other on-the-go settings. There is no case provided. Having owned my pair for under one month now I am uncertain when if ever the ear-fitting begins loosening and separating from the amplifier-portion. Another brand I was using began falling apart after only several months. This model feels very sturdy. I typically wind the wire around the two separate fittings and place it as-is in my mp3 player flexible casing. I will update this review in a few months and indicate how reliable it is as well.

During stretches and other athletic motions, I find that almost all other variations of headphones tend to slip, or come out of the ear entirely. For this reason I am a staunch user of over-the-ear headphones, and recommend these at this price highly.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 2006

Having used the same pair of these headphones now for over six months, I can also say that these headphones have remained very sturdy and reliable. At the gym, walking outdoors and on the run, even using them while travelling overseas for two weeks, there have been absolutely no audio problems yet. I got a second pair in case these failed for any reason, and so far they are unused.

The bass and treble are just as good as when they were new. I have to be careful wrapping the wires when finished using them, if they get tangled it takes a long time to unravel them, but so far there has been no wire loosening, nor separation of the earhooks, nor any other problems.

Incidentally this review was originally for headphones that were much more like this following product, ASIN (Amazon Search) B000G0JKNM. Just put the "B.." value in the search field at this site, it will go right to them. My review has now been moved for a set with, apparently, adjustable heights for different sized ears, I've never owned a pair of them. There is a price difference of a few bucks. Check out both, I assume the sound quality is essentially the same as for model SHS3200/37. Their reliability has proven to be as good as their sound quality.
