Pretty Good Ice Cream

I bought this for my dad who is an ice cream lover but doesn't need to make large quantities of ice cream at one time. It was more of a novelty gift, but after making vanilla and chocolate ice cream in this little machine, we are really happy with the quality of ice cream and have been using it almost daily!

It's an easy machine to use, the only drawback for kids would be having to wait 4-5 hours for the ice cream. This is actually great for adults who like 2-3 servings of freshly made ice cream based on simple recipes.

Sassafras has made ice cream-making easy. No fussing with salts or cranks. Just prepare the raw ingredients, pour into the handy ice cream maker, push the freeze button and pop into your freezer for four hours. You ll be surprised at how this little, inexpensive machine can produce ice cream delicious enough for your dinner party and yummy enough for the kids! Makes two flavors at once and works on four AA batteries (not included) that will last about three different production cycles.
