Timex Ironman

I have been buying cheap plastic Casio watches for the better part of 3 decades now. After about 2 years, the batteries die and I get another for about $25. On some, the wristbands rot. No problem! I just throw it away and get another.

With my last purchase, I bought a Timex for $28 online. That's two firsts! I usually go to Fry's Electronics because I like to see what I'm buying before I buy it. But, exactly how different is it to see a mess of watches in a glass case versus seeing photos of watches online? It's not like a salesman is going to "work" with you. Come on!

As for the quality of the Timex, I am completely pleased. Shipping was prompt. The unit keeps good time, and all the functions work. Their operation was even easy to learn. Of course, having had about 10 of this style of watch, I pretty much know how they work.

All in all, I am completely satisfied with the watch, with Amazon, and with Jomashop, the 3rd Party vendor that actually shipped the watch. Thanks, guys, for making my online shopping experience fun and rewarding.

Great watch

The watch was exactly what I was looking for and I got a great price. I looked around a lot and found Amazon to have the cheapest price.

I've done several triathlons with this watch in addition to wearing it every day for 8 or so years. I just finally had to buy another after the battery was wearing down (harder to read the face) and the band was just starting to crack. I did use this watch every day in my profession. Timing patients in walks etc. Great durable for the money.

Not Glamorous - But Timex is Always Reliable

Over the years I have switched back a forth from Timex to Casio watches. Both brands last about five years, but I give a slight edge to Timex. This is the standard fare Timex watch and this is the first time that I bought a watch over the internet rather than a drug store. They have not gone up in price. (This was $34 plus change including the shipping costs.)

So far it has run like a Timex. It is 100% dependable. But, the display and the strap will not win any fashion contests soon.

I find the night glo feature very useful at night and I wake up unexpectantly and I want to know the time. I cannot evaluate the alarm as I have not used it. The stop watch is reliabe if not boring.

And, it is very easy to set.

So, the Timex tradition continues - It is an old homely friend, but it will not let me down.

Great watch

This is a great watch, super easy to configure and use. It's also tough. I bought it to have a watch to wear on a recent fishing trip and it worked perfectly. Doesn't matter if it gets a little dirty or wet, it still works just fine. The reflective green coating on the display makes it super easy to read in virtually any light level. And of course it's got the indiglo button in case it's really dark out. I'm very happy with my purchase.
