Best music video I own, everyone should have this in their library. Disc #2 especially because it has dark side of the moon.

Pink Floyd's Grand Finale??

Well, I had to wait several years (15) until 2010 to see what else came along, but so far this concert by David Gilmour and company is the best concert on video anywhere by anyone. Even David Gilmour has made nothing approaching this since, nor has he attempted to. I have been a fan of Pink Floyd since 1967 and every time I watch this concert, it occurs to me that David Gilmour may have meant this to be a sort of grand finale for Pink Floyd. Either way, this concert is Pink Floyd at their absolute best. As of right now, nobody else I have seen or heard of comes close to such a purposely grandiose and flawless live production as Pulse. I wonder if the people who were there that night, including the cast and crew, realize how lucky they were to experience the best live rock concert ever recorded.

Gilmour is the man.

I'm quite fond of this show as I saw Pink Floyd live at Soldier Field in 1994 and it was basically the same show. Clearly the most polished version of PF, for good and bad, and never a sour note. I do feel bad that I never got to see the band with Roger Waters, but this show was all there was in the '90's. That being said, they did a great job and were very fun watch.
