Works like a charm!

I bought this to use on our plasma tv which we have down stairs. Our satellite receiver is upstairs and we didn't want to reroute it. So I bought this to try. It works perfectly, I was so excited! I didn't thinkit would actually make it work. Ver Satisified!

Works really well! Fantastic Product.

I was looking for a product which would convert my existing TiVo and All-In-One remotes to RF to allow me to keep the cabinet doors where I keep my TiVo, Satellite Receiver and DVT players closed when operating those devices. IR remotes which need line of sight just would not work in that scenario.

When I first saw this product on Amazon, I was skeptical about it. However I did order it. I found it very easy to setup and it works flawlessly to transform my existing IR remotes into RF capable. I ordered a second unit to allow me to control the same from my kids room, which is about 50 feet away, and that works perfectly as-well.

Good Stuff

I'm renting one cable box. I used this remote extender to control the cable box in my living room from the bedroom (I don't watch both TV's at the same time) I used a splitter to split the cable to both the living room TV and the bedroom TV. I use this extender to change channels from the bedroom. It works great! Great value! No complaints!

Amazing...simply amazing

Based upon the reviews I read here (and elsewhere) I decided to buy this little guy and give it a whirl. I am trying to control my DirecTV satellite receiver located in another room through a wall, some shelves, and whatever electronics are on the same shelf as the receiver (which include a VCR and the satellite receiver itself). I did not use the included "remote eye".

After charging the battery (per the instructions), I inserted it into the transmtter shell, slid that into the AA adapter, and replaced one of the two batteries in the remote control with this...thing.

It works exactly as advertised. Now I may control the receiver in the "main room" (connected via a splitter to the TV in the bedroom) perfectly while -in- the bedroom. I couldn't ask for anything more from a reasonably priced product.
