Happy with my purchase :)

I'm not an experienced biker. I bought a $75 mountain bike from Wal-Mart to take on occasional camping trips and get me from place to place around town. Therefore, I did not want an expensive seat either. However, I don't think it takes an experienced rider to know what comfort feels like, and this seat definitely delivers in that category. With the stock seat I was limited to about 8 miles before it became unbearable to sit on and made me sore for two days after. $20 later, with the new Schwinn seat, ride time is no longer an issue, now I just need to make sure I bring enough water.

Compfy and reasonable.

This seat is a very nice replacement. As stated in many reviews it is certainly not a pillow top but it is not a rock either. I gave it 4 stars because the screws holding in the springs do require about 1 turn to loosen the springs a bit. You will need a small phillips head screwdriver for the screws. Once you have loosened the springs they do a great job of absorbing shock and the comfort matched with the support of the seat lead to a great ride. I would definitely suggest this seat as a reasonably priced replacement to any friend or family member.

Seat is comfortable but still a little firm.

This a much more comfortable than the seat that came with my bike but is still pretty firm. The elastomer springs don't have much give to them so things are still pretty rigid. I am able to ride 5 or 6 miles though with little discomfort. I would recomend this seat to anyone thats a casual rider. The seat has nice looks and goes well with the design of my bike wich is a Schwinn mountain type bike.
