This tea is incredibly soothing for a sore throat.
The intriguing fragrance while drinking it encourages one to inhale the steam which is also good for the nose and sinuses. The tea itself is very comforting to an irritated/dry throat. A little Chamomile for relaxation.
It has become a welcomed ritual now when I'm sick.
I did initially have a concern regarding the way it was packaged in 10 boxes of 10 bags each, but I realized they will last longer and stay fresher that way. I have had problems locating this tea locally and was grateful and relieved to find it at Amazon.

Great tea, orblem with quanity
I ordered six boxes (20 bags per box) of this wonderful tea. Delivery was prompt, but it came as 10 boxes of 10 bags. I went online and followed return instructions. Again the order was filled promptly, but also again it came as 10 boxes of 10 bags. Both boxes came with a sticker and a bar code on it saying "Celestial SeasoningdsThroatSoothers, Tea Bags, 20-Count Boxes (Pack of six). The box, however, is clearly printed 10/10 Throat Soothers.
I spoke with a very nice customer service rep to try and get this straightened out. He will refund my money, but I'd rather have the six boxes of 20 tea bags.
During a recent bout with the flu which included a severe sore throat, I drank at least 3 or 4 cups of this tea every day. Adding a teaspoon of honey makes it extra smooth and soothing. It was a very pleasant way to make my throat feel better without having to take acetaminophen or ibuprofen, or having to suck on nasty tasting lozenges.
Tasty and Soothing
ThroatSootherstea is delicious and also helps to soothe a sore throat. The only complaint I have is that they have made the boxes smaller putting less tea bags in a box.
