Sony Ericsson Bluetooth HBH-PV700 Headset

I have tried a number of bluetooth earpieces, and this one is tops in performance. Clarity is outstanding even in noisy places,and the earpiece easily connects to my phone after long periods of idle time, and unlike other earpieces, this one does not disconnect from the phone when the phone or earpiece is plugged in for charging. If I had to change anything about this product, it would be the color and maybe size.

I bought this item after I shopped in the local Cingular store. It seems that I couldn't get a nice headset under 80 dollars locally. I found this one and bought it. It has performed as expected. The range is nice -- I can leave my phone in the car and the headset extends all the way out to my mailbox. Sound quality seems sufficient, and the battery life has not been a problem. I have tested it with my co-workers and they claim to be able to hear me just fine. No one has commented on the "windnoise" effect that plagues other headset units. I think this is a great buy for the money.

Excellent quality at an affordable price

I have owned this product for over two weeks now with a Sony Ericsson W710i. The sound quality is superior and compares well to some of the more expensive systems out there. Listeners have never noticed the difference between a conversation that happened on the headset or on the phone. Pairing with the cell phone is simple and effective. The multifunction and volume buttons are discreet, but easy to locate with your fingers. I also appreciate Sony's idea of sharing chargers with the cell phones, making it one less wire lying around or having to travel with.

The headset is slightly on the larger size range, but is lightweight and sits well. That said, personally I feel that the clip is oddly designed, and for some reason it begins to feel uncomfortable after about half an hour. Also, there is no gel pad around the ear piece, but it doesn't seem to matter much. It is extremely awkward to put on the ear with just one hand, as it requires you to pull the clip back and over the ear, and I have yet to master the technique. The colour (white/blue) doesn't match my phone (graphite/white/orange), but is attractive nonetheless.

Overall, the headset is a great value, and it loses a star in my rating only because of the slight discomfort of putting the headset on with one hand. I highly recommend this product to anyone who uses the headset occasionally as I do.

great sound quality, good battery life, average comfort

I got this headset because I like the Sony Ericsson brand and the price was right. The white/blue color is bit odd, but didn't have other choice.

First-time setup and connecting it to my SonyEricsson cell phone was very easy. Afterwards, you just need to turn on Bluetooth on your cell phone and the headset - they connect automatically. If the connection lost due to out-of-range, just push the button on the headset when you're back in range - they are connected again.

The fit is, of course, a personal thing depending on your ear size. The earpiece felt a bit large for my ear, but despite this the sound quality is excellent - I don't use it on full volume even on the street. Although the unit is light, my ear starts feeling the weight and hurting after less than an hour of wearing so I put it off when not using.

The process of putting it on your ear required me to use both my hands, so keep this in mind when you start driving without it and then would want to put it on with one hand while driving.

Like I said, the voice quality has been excellent: neither I no people I speak to have complaints.

Battery life is pretty good, although I don't use it very often or long enough to be absolutely sure.

I would recommend buying it for those who is concerned with the good price and quality and not concerned very much with the style and fashion.
