highly recommended

So far, so good

I purchased this for my seven year old. She has not had that much experience with any other type of video game system so she is on a learning curve with the joystick, but she really enjoys playing her games so far. She is on the young side of the age grouping for this product and that shows occassionally in the games and does make her stop playing it after a while, but I didn't really get it for her to be on it all the time. It is good fun for a while that also happens to teach her and that was all I was really looking for.

VTech V.Flash

Although my child is a little old for this system, with his ADHD, he has done very well with it. He especially loves the Spider-Man game. Overall, I think it is good for kids probably 6 and under.

great game system for a good price!

this is a great system that is very kid friendly. easy to set up and easy to play. i love that the disc are incased in a plastic cover that protects the game from dirt scratches and dirty fingers. kids can easily change from game to game. my kids are 6 and 8 just so you know that they need little to no help with this system. I would recomend this to any one with kids 5- 10.

V Flash

My kids love to play with the v flash. It is educational and much better then play xbox or wii for small children.

Excellent educational system for Kids 6+!!

I bought two of these Vtech systems for my nephew and niece. The controller on the first system (got it from ebay for about $25) stopped working after a few months but my sister was not sure whether the problem was in the controller or the system so I sent her another one (got it from Amazon marketplace for $30) and the problem turned out to be in the controller. However, for the price that I paid I really don't mind that I have bought 2. The educational value of the games is great. My nephew was a little older than 6 when he first started playing with it. After a while he learned the name of the continents, some math, and some vocabulary. My sister and her husband were delighted especially that English is not our first language. The only thing that I wish for is the release of more games. There are only about 9 games and I have bought 8 of them already.
