Slava & Leonard Grigoryan are two of the greatest guitarists in Australia, imbuing their performances with passion and musicality. This CD of guitar works by the blind Spanish composer Joaqu n Rodrigo features the famous Concierto de Aranjuez, and is an exploration of emotions through the guitar - a mixture of fiery passion, gentle introspection and profound sadness. Rodrigo's works are influenced by the restraint of the Baroque period, the embellishment of the Rococo along with the 17th-century guitarist and composer Gaspar Sanz.
