Lot's of Fun!

I purchased the Rainforest Melodies Deluxe Gym for my grandson, who was 3 months at the time. I laid him on it right away and he loved it! The flashing lights caught his attention and kept it. He loves to hit the hanging toys with his hands and feet - the monkey is his favorite. I have had to wash the mat twice and it washes up wonderfully. It didn't fade one bit! I know he lays under the gym at least 3 times per day, if not more, and for intervals of 20 to 30 minutes. I am so happy that I purchased this gym!

Great entertainment for babies

Even though this product is a little pricey, both my daughter and I love it. I even bought this for a shower gift becuase it is so nice to have something to hold my babies attention. The bright colors, sounds and lights allow for my daughter to interact with this toy for quite some time. Now that she is rolling, she also likes all the colors on the bottom part and tries to grab at the design. A must have!!!

Not sure if they like it, but I do

I ordered this playmat while I was pregnant with twin boys. I started using it for their "tummy time" play and they seemed to enjoy it very much. Now they are 4 months and are very indifferent towards it. I think it is beautiful with the vibrant colors and cute animals. I especially like how the removable animals hang at different heights. However, they don't seem impressed at all. This was the only item I didn't buy two of and right now I'm glad I didn't. I hope that as they get a little older they will take more interest in it.

The best!

My daughter has been using this mat since she was 2 months old. She loves it! She still uses it and she is 9 months. Some reviews are saying it is cheap and not good quality, but she has used it everyday for 7 months and I have no problems with it. You can add your own toys to it, or you can take the toys it comes with down to go with you to town. The little animals are the cutest and my daughter seems to love them too. She was instantly drawn to the monkey and the bird. She is now not as interested in them, (probably gets bored with the same toys everyday) but I am able to add new toys to the hangers. So nice that you can take toys down and add different ones as kids get bores SO easily! I take the legs off and throw the mat in the washing machine and it's held up remarkably. This mat is not cheap it is definatley worth it!

Repositionable toys include a soft hanging monkey, a soft toucan with jingle, an elephant with soft ears and a spinner with beads, a parrot with a paddle spinner and a frog character mirror. Two satin butterflies fly around above baby as colored lights pulse on and off while music plays. The large mat has a quilted rainforest underside, sun ray ribbons, and a soft tiger tail. A large soft giraffe sits at the bottom of the rainbow arch and has two points on which to link toys for baby. Mom can also link the toys to any of three link points on the mat as well as to any of five link points overhead for a total of 11 places to link toys for baby. Mom can choose between three modes of play: Baby mode allows baby's play time movements to set off eight to 12 seconds of lights and music. Music mode plays music for 20 minutes while baby plays. Rainforest mode plays 20 minutes of rainforest sounds while baby plays. The gym provides four songs and two sound effects sequences. Requires 2-C batteries, not included.
