Great value

A very reasonably priced gigabit switch with 5 links">ports -- we use over a dozen of these in our office without any difficulties. Unlike various Netgear units we've had, none of these have failed or had bad ports.

Gigabit support seems good, though I've never bothered (or needed) to run any throughput tests.

And for being called Green Ethernet, I'm not really sure how many power savings there can be from a little switch like this...though nonetheless it's always positive to hear companies taking this under consideration when designing products.

Speedy - Works Great

I bought this to connect via Gigabit Ethernet between my PC and D-Link 323 NAS. My AT&T Modem/Router is pathetic in terms of speed and reliability.

Transferring large files between the PC and NAS are now like copying it locally on the machine and a lot faster than copying from CD/DVD to the Hard Drive. It does what I want- I just wish I got the 8 port model, instead. I'm going to hook up all my game consoles to this, next, as their current wireless connections are sloooooow.

Great home networking product

An unmanaged network switch doesn't have to do much to please. This switch does come with a slender AC adapter that only consumes physical space for 1 outlet. Its energy efficient, silent, sturdy, and gets data over the network fast enough for video editing.

D-Link Switch

Installed without a hitch, does what it's supposed to. However I am not taxing its' speed in my installation. Recommended.
