I love this cereal. It is healthy and really tasty which is such a rare combination to find! My 2 year old loves this cereal too. She keeps saying - give me 2 hearts or give me 2 circles :-)
Best tasting HEALTHY cereal...
I have been eating continuously for over a year now and love it! I love the taste and I know what all of the ingredients are. Do yourself a favor and look at the ingredients of other "healthy" cereals from other brands like Kellogg's and General Mills. You will find out that there is a lot of junk in them or ingredients which you don't know what they are let alone be able to pronounce...imagine how your body reacts to it. This cereal has very low sodium too.
Tastes great! and more importantly, eating this regularly really reduces cholestrol.
The details on this cereal reads much better than any other good tasting cereal I have seen.
This cereal has less fat etc even compared to the other Kashys heart to heart cereal (with blueberries).
I love this cereal, esp. with a lightly sweetened soymilk. But Hannaford Supemarket and Target sells this for less $, and this week I bought boxes of this and other Kashi cereal for $2.50 a piece on sale at Target.
Something like Cheerios, but better...
We've been buying KashiHeart to Heart for a few years now. We are never long without it. My kids love it. They mostly only eat it as a snack, without milk. Some of the kids prefer it as part of a "trail mix" with added dried fruits and/or other cereals.
It's similar to Honey Nut Cheerios, but not as sweet, plus this one is free of any nuts. (Good to know for peanut-allergic people.)(My friend's daughter has a peanut allergy. The daughter eats this all the time.)
Once I made cereal bars with this. I melted marshmallows & margarine, then added the cereal. Then, I pressed it into a baking dish. (Like Rice Krispy Treats.) That was good...almost too good. I ate a million of them. The kids liked them, too. (I don't think my husband got any.)
Anyway, this is a 5 star cereal. Everyone loves it.
Buy it elsewhere. Walmart generally sells it for around two-fifty. Plus, check around for coupons (eBay). Kashi runs great coupons.
