My Favorite Floss - Nothing Else Like It

Before I found "woven floss" I had tried lots of others types. Nothing else really worked. How did I know? Because my dentist would always ask me if I was flossing, even though I always floss daily! After starting to use the Reach Woven Floss, I don't get asked that question any longer! :-)

When I first saw this floss, I was afraid that it was really going to "shred" because it's three threads "woven" together, and looks a lot like yarn. But looks are deceiving because it slips right between my teeth. As a matter of fact, I had a lot of problems with other waxed and non-waxed floss breaking when I flossed, and I rarely have that problem now.

Here's an analogy. . . Take a piece of plastic wrap and try to wipe-up a spill on your counter top. It doesn't do much. Now use a cloth and see the difference. That's just like flossing. Other floss just slips in/out but doesn't actually pull any of the "gunk" from between your teeth. With Reach Woven Floss, you're actually pulling out the "gunk".

Best of the type

I agree completely with the person who praised the J&J woven dental floss and complained about not being able to find it in stores. I started using it on the recommendation of my dentist. It's much easier to use than regular dental floss and does a much better job. I've checked four different chains in our area. A few used to carry it, but stopped. One or two have stopped carrying all J&J dental products in order to push the store brand. I haven't found any other company that makes woven floss. I don't understand why J&J doesn't push it more.

Fantastic stuff - use nothing else!

My dentist gave me samples of this floss as I had some gum issues. Wow, what a difference this stuff makes. Forget Glide or waxed or anything else. They do not get the stuff out and this does. Never thought I'd rave about dental floss - hate flossing really - but I honestly see and feel the difference and my gums are healthier using it.

These units are huge, not your typical drug store size. Keep that in mind when you are doing price comparisons. These should last you ages.

This is the best floss for really cleaning between teeth. The unique twisted textured string design gets every little bit. The only floss for me. And the mint flavor isn't too sweet and leaves your breath fresh. Been using it for years.
