Greatest blanket ever

There is no better way to swaddle your new one. We used this until our daughter was like six months old and it was really a miracle at putting her at ease and helping her get to sleep quickly and calmly.

The only thing to be aware of is that the foot portion is a bit loose (on the larger side) and so our daughter would often kick her legs out of the large pocket set up for her legs.

This makes an excellent gift.

Won't use anything else

I love this blanket. With my first child I never got swaddling down, so I thought I would try this with my second. Wow. It is so easy and my daughter loves it. I read the instructions once and had it. Within seconds I had her swaddled and she did not break free of it her whole nap. Unlike when I use receiving blankets or even "swaddling" blankets. I think the fabric is plenty soft and is such a nice color. It is the only swaddling blanket I want to use.

Believe the hype!

My son was very easily pleased being wrapped in regular blankets. With the birth of my daughter, I was naturally inclined to resist purchasing anything that wasn't essential. Well, after many sleepless nights, my friend recommended this to me. The thought of spending this amount of money did not sit well with me, especially for a piece of fabric!!!

However, I was very, very tired and ready to try anything. I mean, could something that was universally rated 5 stars on amazon be THAT good? So I caved in.

Before the miracle blanket, my daughter was waking up every 1-2 hours at night, EVERY night. The worst sleeper. I purchased this when she was 4 wks old. She suddenly was sleeping 4 hours at a time at night. My nanny didn't believe this would work so well and continued swaddling her in receiving blankets, waking up every 1-2 hours.

I finally made her a convert. My daughter is now 11wks old and sleeps 6-hr periods at night... yeah, it's a MIRACLE. It cracks me up to see her smiling as I strap her hands down into the "straight jacket" (my acronym for it LOL). But she's genuinely happy to be in it. I have to admit, I felt bad in the beginning at the thought of physically restraining her LOL.

After a long, overstimulating day, she gets fussy (OK when I hold her, cries when I put her down). So I just put her in the Miracle Blanket, put her in the crib, and she just calms down if not falls asleep. Once she's calm, I take her out of it. Or whenever she cries for no obvious reason, the answer is the MIRACLE BLANKET.

At bedtime, we were rocking her to sleep. Now, at 8:30pm like clockwork, we feed her, wrap her up, put her down, turn on the mobile, and leave the room (at least until she's asleep)... we can count on the Miracle Blanket for 6-8 hours, and she's just 11wks old...

Miracle Blanket is truly a miracle!

I heard about this blanket at the hairdressers while I was talking about how my grandchild was having difficulty sleeping any length of time. The woman in the next chair told me about it and I went home and ordered one immediately. Let me tell you, it worked instantly. The baby is wrapped like a sausage, and feels snug and safe. No waking from jerking motions and they feel secure. Swaddling has been used for centuries to calm babies. This blanket will not come unwrapped. There are 2 flaps that you place over the arms and you tuck the flap under the body. Then you wrap the shorter side around and tuck then you wrap the longer one around and around, keeping it nice and smooth, and just below the baby's shoulders. I buy it now for every baby shower I attend. 5 stars!!

Must have for new parents!
