A Great Toothbrush

The Oral-B Vitality is a great electric toothbrush. I have been using electric toothbrushes, beginning with a much more expensive competitor toothbrush, for several years. After I broke two of the expensive toothbrushes (probably by pressing too hard on them), I bought the Vitality because it was the cheapest electric toothbrush around. To my surprise, I found that it works much better than the more expensive brush did. The Oral-B Vitality has a small round brush which can get into hard-to-reach areas and to hard-to-reach surfaces that the large brush on the competitor couldn't. Also, the circular motion of the Oral-B Vitality works and cleans much better than the back-and-forth motion of the more expensive brush. After I switched to the Oral-B Vitality my dentist was surprised at how clean my teeth were! You can get Oral-B electric toothbrushes with wide a range of features at a wide range of prices, but I found that the low-cost Vitality serves me well. You can also get a range of different types of brushes for the Vitality. The batteries of cordless electric toothbrushes eventually wear out (after several years, depending on use), but replacement of the low-priced Vitality is also affordable. I strongly recommend it.

You get what you pay for

My 2nd Sonicare toothbrush died, so I picked up this Oral-B. For what I paid, I guess I can't complain.

There are things I prefer about my Sonicare, like the fact that it had a charging indicator, it was much quieter, and seemed more powerful.

For what I paid for this Oral-B, I guess I can't complain. It does the job, although it is much louder than my Sonicare. I have noticed that the toothbrush seems to "bog down" if you use anything but light pressure. I mean it get's a bit bogged down when it's rubbing up against my cheek when brushing my back molars. There is no charging indicator on the unit, so there's no way of knowing whether it is charging or not. I will say, however, I do prefer the brush head size/shape in comparison to Sonicare's shape/size. I was even using the compact brush head's with my Sonicare, but the Oral-B's are just more comfortable and do a better job reaching my back molars. While I wouldn't buy this model again, I will most likely step up to a higher priced model to see if the noise gets any quieter and the motor stronger. All in all, it was worth it to find out I prefer the brush head shape/size over Sonicare's. Also, the price of the replacement brushes are much more reasonable. Granted you change these heads ever 3 mths v. 6 mths with the Sonicare, it's still a significant savings.

Great price, quality ?

It is a great price compared to the $100 I spent on an Oral-B from Costco. (It lasted approx 5 yrs) Granted the quality isn't the same, but I guess you can look at it with a disposable attitude. It doesn't have to last as long as the higher quality Oral B.

Kids love it

It's a great way to get kids to brush their teeth well. For the price, it's one-third the price that I paid for mine and is a good starter for them to get in the habit of using it

Great Toothbrush

My hygienist recommended this brush for a beginning brush. I love the way it cleans my teeth!
It's like I went to the dentist each time I brush. I don't know if I would be willing to pay
much more for a brush when this one works so well.
