Saitek Eclipse 2 Keyboard

Keyboard arrived in two days...good service. The keyboard is great..so far, I am quite pleased. I bought this for the back lit keys...and it does what it's supposed to do. It's great for gaming...weighted, heavy duty, and nice feel..keys are not too springy/not mushy. Highly recommended!
I would have given it 5 stars...but since it is only two days old....I can't give it a perfect rating...yet.

great keyboard

So far I love this keyboard. A few things about previous reviews, the complaints about keys wearing off is NOT this keyboard, that was the first Eclipse. As far as it booting up in "blue", I have mine plugged into a powered USB hub so it never shuts off, it will remain on whatever color you choose...altho the blue is the coolest imo. One other thing, this is a heavy keyboard, it stays where you put it and feels very solid. I would be very happy with this keyboard even without the backlight, but the light does what I wanted, makes the keys easy to see in low light and since I've been "hunting and pecking" for 25 years now, I need to see the keys.

Great Product.

This keyboard has a great feel to it. The design is both functional and stylish. The 3 color system may be gimicky to some, but what can I say, I like gadgets. If you are looking for a good quality basic lighted keyboard I recommend it.

Just What I Wanted

I was looking for an illuminated keyboard as my home office setup requires that I often work in the dark. I have had the keyboard for about a month and am very satisfied with it.

A handy-dandy lighted keyboard

After owning and enjoying the earlier model Saitek Eclipse lighted keyboard for about a year, I purchased this model when it was featured [...] in Sept of '06. I am not particularly gentle with my keyboards, but it still looks great and functions perfectly. It is comfortable to type on. And I enjoy the media control keys. I find the pink/purple backlighting is easiest to see. My old one got passed down to one of my kids, and it's still going strong. If I had to suggest an improvement, I would like the next model to feature an even brighter setting as I am not a touch typist and often am using it at night. That said, I don't hesitate to recommend this product.
