Best computer speakers period

I may not have the ears of the top audiophiles, but still I'm going to claim of the excellent sound quality. These are the best computers speakers in my opinion. I bought them refurbished at a lower price. I'm happy to say that despite that, the Logitech driver was easy to find for windows, the speaker's buttons control my media player Winamp very well.

I love the look and the light touch. If you are upgrading your computer, getting these and maybe a dinovo edge keyboard is like the rolls royce setup.

The USB connection is nice because you can trust the beefiness of the cable and the accurate connection over maybe a cheap sound card, or on board audio port's quality. You still get an analog line input for things like smaller media players. They look so beautiful bookending my dual monitor setup. It's quality you will be happy with for sure.

Very clean, crisp sound. Outstanding.

I'm old-school about my music. I want to accurately re-produce whatever the sound engineer mastered in the studio. That means Hi-Fi, which means big-heavy speakers with flat, accurate response through the audio range.

The trouble is, that making these types of systems is really expensive. It's much cheaper to put a fat, flabby subwoofer and some tinny tweeters into some cheap plastic boxes and advertise it as 'better' because it has a subwoofer.

When I listen to the majority of stereo systems (pc or loungeroom) I'm horrified by the soggy, overpowering bass, harsh tinny treble, and either no midrange at all or worse, midrange overpowered by the resonant frequency of the plastic speaker housing.

Sadly, I think that gen-Y have gotten used to this as being the pinnacle of audio reproduction (never having heard REAL hi-fi). I was, therefore, shocked and delighted to hear some REAL hi-fi from the Z-10's.

This is exactly what I want out of a great speaker - accurate reproduction of the original music. Every time I listen to them I'm impressed, every note in the range expressed exactly as intended.

I have to say I love these speakers!!!! The sound is great. I tried every speaker system without a big subwoofer and these sounded the best!!!! Actually bought the bose 2 companion and returned them. Everybody that hears them says the same thing. The speakers are loud and have a nice crisp sound. The best 2.0 speaker system out there!!!

Pretty, nice build, very crisp but odd sound

I bought these because the reviews in general were quite good (on the UK Amazon at least). And having had them, I can relate to most of the reviews - the sounds is very crisp and the look is very pretty and the build quality seems great. However, there is something weird about every song I play. Something is definitely missing in the range, or the way the music is synthesized, but I'm not an expert so I can't tell you what in particular. Another reviewer summed it up well - the sound is a bit "unreal". The LCD display, works nicely, but a cheap gimmick in mind. I'd prefer these speakers with a fat volume knob and more of that beautiful black substance covering the lcd screen.

I don't know if I would risk the purchase, cos the sound is really crisp and it does look good, but the sound it produces might not be to your taste so I wouldn't risk it.

Great sound!

This is one of better computer speaker that I had. The sound is incredible. LCD screen is not very sensitive at times.
