works fine. thought it was new, but it was an open package, but none the less it works! great product to have a pc controller that you already have with your xbox 360

Excellent With A Little Work

This device worked almost immediately with Windows XP. Just connect it up and let the Found New Hardware dialogs connect to the Internet to find the drivers. From opening the box to having four 360 controllers synced up, it took a matter of minutes.

Getting 360 controllers to work with games that don't specifically support gamepads takes a little extra work, but is very much worth it. The device's drivers provide no way to map the buttons to keyboard/mouse input, but the do-it-yourself community already has this covered with a very mature piece of free software called Xpadder.

Xpadder takes a little work to configure, but can support absolutely any gamepad, the 360 one included. Believe me, whatever you want to do or play with your 360 controller on your PC with this device, Xpadder has you covered.

Works as advertised

I use this to play old emulators with the 360 controller. Works perfectly. Just assign the buttons and play. I had 4 player mario kart 64 going on my computer. If you don't have any PC game controllers but have a few for the 360, get this.

It Works

I purchased this receiver specifically so I could play Crysis with my 360 controller. I am not disappointed. It makes playing the game so much more comfortable. Plus, the installation process was a breeze. If you are running Vista, be sure not to use the installation CD that comes with the receiver (it's made for XP). Just let Vista find the driver for you. Connecting the controller to the receiver was easy. I'm not getting any interference from my bluetooth keyboard or mouse. Very satisfied.

Great product. The controller connect very easily to the receiver and i don't need to do any setup or extra configuration. I used xPadder to map the controls on the xbox 360 controller and work great.
