Very nice ATX board, but picky about RAM.

I've built several systems with this board and found all of them to be very reliable. It is very affordable for a full sized ATX MSI board of this quality. Lots of expansion capability, excellent CPU support: everything from Celerons to Core 2 Duos. I like the fact that that it only has 1 PCI-E 1X slot. At this point PCI slots are much more affordable for just about everything you'll need for expansion. I've tried these boards with both nVidia and ATI cards: it works with them all. Unless you are a high end gamer and need dual card cross fire you can get a very good single card and play just about everything. Runs Vista very well. 1 Major issue is RAM. Don't use any Samsung RAM: you'll get BSODs - this includes brands like Supertalent that use Samsung. Stick with Kingston, Infineon, or Transcend.
