Well, if there's no other way to get it...

The "LIVE AT LENINGRAD" performance was originally released as a 90-minute performance and in this DVD it was cut to 50 minutes. This is inexcusable. (probably they cut the songs that would repeat after appearing in the Japanese show - but, hey, these are separeted performances!!)

Anyway, this is sheer nostalgy. First, in the 1985 Japanese show, we have Jeff Scott Soto singing at the top of his lungs. Man, this guy can sing! At the Lenignrad show, we have Joe lynn Turner also at the top and Yngwie playing like never.

Well, if this the cheap and dishonest way the record company decided to release the Leningrad concert, one must buy it...

well it is a very good concerts but the probleme id that live in leningrad is during 50 MN and i had a laserdisc who was during 90MN
so it miss many songs and very good songs
and for live in japan it is the same it miss a lot of songs so we don t know why so i enjoy watching the dvd but??? i would like to see it all

Many thanks to Universal for bringing these out-of-print classics to DVD.
Although both performances are shorter and dated in concert video production than is the norm nowdays,it's great to see the maestro in his
prime, essentially a kid! I'n not familiar enough w/ the Alcatrazz stuff [yet] to enjoy all the '85 concert tunes, but it was great to hear tunes on the '89 concert that weren't on the CD. The bonus stuff is fun as well - old MTV vintage videos & guitar tabs w/ video. Good interview too -much better than the couple of minutes on the Concerto DVD. If you like
Yngwie, you'll get a kick out of this look back!
