Responsible Parenting

Breyer horses are incredibly durable. I collected them my entire childhood before I graduated to the real thing, so I speak from years of experience when I write that Breyer horses are not intended for small children (and if I'm not mistaken the age ranking is on the box). These horses are incredibly difficult to break, but swinging them against counters, tables, floor, etc will break off legs and ears, and if you really try...heads. These toys are really intended for children who are old enough to understand that toys shouldn't be thrown across the room, stepping on, etc. At the hight of my childhood collection I had a good 150 Breyer horses and in all that time I believe I managed (and I played with them a lot) to break maybe 5, and that was because I stepped on them.
