Works good, simple, very handy, love the warning color lights. Better than the spring timers which broke within two months. Plastics seems a bit on the cheap side so don't want to drop it for it might break. Alarm is not as loud as I wish and will ring for 1 min. then stops while timer will continue to count the mins. pass the ring time.

A bit pricey but a great timer

I was happy to see the light on this timer also back-lights the LCD display! Not many timers do that so this was an added plus. Having said that, I do wish I could control how long the light stays on though. As it is, it just stays on a few seconds before it turns off. But I do like the 3 color alerts, tipping me off to when the timer is about to go off, and then repeatedly flashing when time's up. Also, it arrived with the LCD screen all messed up -- I thought I was going to have to return it, but I gently rubbed my finger over the LCD screen in circular motions and it leveled off the LCD so it would display digits properly.

FYI - the entire white surface on the face of the timer illuminates when the timer lights up -- green, yellow/orange and red. And the LCD screen lights up too. Large digits help make this very easy to see and read.

Overall, this cost a bit more than I care to admit spending on a timer, but it is pretty cool. I'm happy with it.

Excellent timer

Great timer, well made, easy to use, strong mounting magnet, the lights are a nice touch.

This Polder Traffic Light Kitchen Timer has changing colors to alert you as time elapses. The multicolor lights and sound when set time is reached. It lights green with 1 minutes to go, changes to orange with 30 seconds left, and give a red light to indicate 10 seconds until alarm. A must have for any kitchen.
