I have used this starter for decades with excellent, consistant results each time. All Yogourmet starters are much better than others I've tried, I won't use anything else!
Consistent Product, Reduce Variables!
I've been using this product for years, just found out I can purchase it here on Amazon for a pretty decent price! I have an on-line tutorial that shows you how to make yogurt, and this product was used:

The reason why I like Yogourmet is because it is pre-measured into 5 gm packets, so when I go to make a gallon of yogurt (I have two yogurt machines) it takes all the guess-work out of how many to use, as it's one packet for one quart; nice, eh?
Also, the overall quality control seems to be exceptional! I had one strange batch from them that must have gotten heat damaged or something, as it didn't flow as smoothly as I would like out of the packet, but it worked just the same.
Since I started using this product, I have not made a single bad batch of yogurt.
I have been using this product regularly for years, and really like it. We make yogurt every week. I pay $3.70 per 1 oz. package locally. It looks to me like this ad is for a box of 5 1 oz. packages. For that, I'd pay $18.50 USD. The product is excellent, but the price is not. I'd expect to pay less on the web than locally. I have noticed a trend for products that Amazon lists for Super Saver shipping cost more.
