good notebook stand

Just what I wanted in a notebook stand. Simple, lightweight, gets my screen to eye-level. The design allows me to tuck my external keyboard cable directly underneath instead of cluttering the sides.

an elegant solution

This stand is an elegantly simple solution to a longstanding problem. It raises the screen to a better height (better ergonomically), leaves more room on my desktop, allows me to use a separate wireless keyboard, and provides a space to place papers that I'm working from just below the screen. Also, it's far more sturdy than it looks.

Simple and perfect

I was looking for a small but STURDY laptop stand... this is it. Targus' metal piece takes up hardly any space and is rock solid. The others, particularly the ones at this price point, were flimsy plastic stands that jiggled and wobbled. The upwardly curved part of the stand in the very front is ideal for books or papers to prop up while you are using your computer. Furthermore, it looks like a stand alone piece of art when not in use. I've also dragged it into the kitchen to prop open cook books. How cool is that?

Great laptop accessory

This product is a must have for those of us who like the convenience of laptops and have limited space to accommodate an external keyboard and mouse. This is a very useful and functional accessory.

A nifty item that didn't work for me

This is an ingenious, sturdy and inexpensive notebook stand that has a place to store a full keyboard when not in use so it's not taking up a lot of space. The only problem for me is that the screen ends up too high for good viewing with bifocals. An adjustable stand would probably have been a better option for me. I'd highly recommend it if the height is right for the purchaser.
