Looks Okay --- but i'll never know

Unfortunately I ordered this item because I thought... YES! Finally a shutter release cord that was long enough to be useful. However, it doesn't work for the D80... which I have... so I'm out of luck.

great product

As I was looking for a remote shutter control for my D100, it seemed the only choices were the expensive infrared Nikon product or the old-fashioned air bulb control. Although this remote shutter does require the MB-D100 Battery Grip, you're money ahead with the MA-B. Great company.

Great 4 $$

This product does everything I want it to do. It focuses with 1/2 a press, takes a picture when fully pressed, and can lock for "bulb" shots. While it may or may not be flimsier than its more expensive competitors (it does have a very plastic feel), the price difference and functional capabilities made the choice easy for me. It does have a very long cord that can be a bit of a pain, but I would rather have it and not need it than the other way around. (Next unit will be wireless)
