Big, quality durability, bad design...

This thing is really big, way bigger than I need for my 15.4 inch HP, too big. Lots of space, pretty design but one major thing. That big black strap on the front and the small black straps at the top of the pockets? On mine, the vinyl was showing outward and they sewed the leather to the bag so you can't see it. I thought it might be a mistake so I called Caselogic. The woman I spoke to pulled another out of the back room and it was the same thing: They sewed the leather against the back and the ugly vinyl was showing.

Why would they do this? I don't know, but I ended up returning the bag for a combination of that and that it's too big. Also I'm not too fond of the interior of this one. You can't see it that well online, but it's made up of tiled asian-style fish and cassette tapes.

Great Bag

Great bag, lots of space, plenty of pockets, room for a laptop...very happy with this product.

Just what I needed.

I ordered this bag to use when I go on trips and take my laptop with me. It arrived just two days after I ordered it, which was wonderful!

The bag seems like it is very well-made and durable. The padding inside is good and it fits my 15-inch laptop with extra room to spare. The latch is easy to close if the bag is flat. I also like the little strap that goes over the top of the laptop compartment to keep the laptop from sliding out if the bag tips when it's open. There is also another large section (I use that for a textbook and a notebook), little organizer pockets, a cell-phone side pocket, and a zippered compartment on the back that fits magazines perfectly.

I bought the gray and it is a few shades darker than the picture shows with the design less pronounced. It still looks good, though. I plan on getting many years use out of this bag.

My son loved the bag but he wished it had a short strap in the middle so you could also carry the bag instead of on your shoulder all the time.

Great bag for yout 15" laptop and books

After scouting various stores for a good laptop bag for school and coming up empty; I went online to look for one. Most laptop/messenger bags I saw were usually tailored for business/travel people in mind. They had more of a professional look to them that I just didn't agree with. I wanted a more laid back, casual looking bag. I finally settled on this one.

The bag is big. My 15" laptop fits in great with room to spare. All my notebooks, papers, and textbooks fit just nicely as well. On the inside, there are three small pouchs that can hold various pens and pencils. The strap is adjustable and the side pockets can fit either your cellphone or a small snack. It's a bit too small to fit a water bottle though. There is also a pouch on the back of the bag that could be use for a small notebook or other loose papers. As for appearance, it looks great. The design on the front is nice and it doesn't come off as being too flashly.

Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. This bag is great for anyone that's in college and needs something to carry their books and laptop in. I suppose it could also be used on a work/professional level, but some could argue it wouldn't fit because it doesn't look as professional as those leather laptop bags. Nevertheless, it's a very stylish bag that easily fits any 15" laptop and various other school/work supplies.
