Cannot say enough about the Flip Video , and how fast it got here. I opened the box and used it in minutes. Good service and product.

Awesome gift!

I bought six of these for my wedding and gave them to our bridesmaids and groomsmen. They were our videographers and it was so cool to get everyone's perspective on the festivities. They take awesome video and sound , even in darker areas. our wedding was outside on the beach at night and the video showed up great!

For the movie-maker on a tight budget, this gadget will do the job and do it well. The software can be finicky, as it won't recognize another Flip camcorder and will crash, forcing you to retrieve the video straight from the camera's internal folders. The video quality is top-notch, but if you're looking for HD or advanced video editing, you might want to save a few extra hundred and get a more professional camcorder. Also, do not record any lengthy clips as they will not transfer to your computer; keep them down to a few minutes at most. No memory cards or tapes needed, it's a handy tool needing only 2 AA batteries. For more versatility, as in a short tripod, an action mount, or an underwater case, you will need to put a few more dollars into the Flip Ultra.

I love this camcorder

I love this camcorder. I purchased it online so that I could use it to record my stand up and upload it to you tube and it has not let me down yet. The only thing bad I would say is you must keep a lot of batteries with you if you are going to use it as much as I do because you need AA batteries to power it up. But I honestly think this is the best invention ever well besides the microwave, well there's the car and the stop light and how about the ...well you get the point its a really nice camcorder and it's afforable.

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. It takes great video up close but is nearly worthless for anything over a few feet.. which I wish I had known before I bought it, since it was mainly to be used at ball games and band concerts.
It is very easy to use, and is a nice size.. I would be much happier with it if it had more distance capability.
