Perfect little helper for my middle grade child

A teacher recommended I purchase a recorder for my son to assist in his writings by helping get his thoughts in order, as he is good verbally, but his writing comes across as jumbled up. He is all too excited about his ability to bloviate with the recorder which has helped his writing tremendously, especially since it is so easy to use.

great price for compact recorder

For anyone who previously enjoyed the simple Voice-It recorder which has been unavailable for years, this is the next best thing for recording notes to oneself. Sound quality is good and controls are simple. Like the locking slide switch which precludes accidental recordings and increases battery life. Oddly the instructions did not include how to adjust volume (push the + and - during playback). Would recommend especially for the $30 price.

Exactly what I wanted

I purchased this for my husband. He was never in a position to write something down when it came to mind. This is a basic recorder but does exactly what I thought it would. You just grab it and put your thoughts on it. Very clear when you play it back. Records well in fairly noisy conditions. Very light weight and no bigger than a cell phone. It fits very well in his pocket. If you need something to put reminders, lists, or anything on, this is great. And the price can't be beat either!
