Will be a toy my children's children will play with

We went to Disney World this year and it was our sons first airplane ride. And since our sons, 8 and 4, love Playmobil, their grandparents gave them this plane for Christmas. It is a huge hit! it is played with every day. The plane is very big! It has seating for two pilots (comes with a pilot and flight attendant) in the cockpit area, and seating for 5 additional passengers (comes with two). The boarding door opens and there is a roomy cargo area towards the rear. And the bathroom is a funny feature, with it's potty and tiny roll of toilet paper. Lastly, the lid over the cockpit and the body comes off leaving plenty of room for easy access to the inside of the plane.

The assembly was not too fun, popping in the little windows started to hurt my fingers. And some pieces, like the engines do tend to fall off sometimes, it is not that much of a problem, but some connections on parts of Playmobil toys are not that strong.

Overall, a fun toy with a lot of play value.

This Playmobil Airliner is a great toy made with obvious quality. The plane is a show stopper. I gave to my nephew at his fifth birthday and it took over the party.

I would say that it takes a while to assemble and the kids cannot wait to play with it so consider pre-assembly.

I bought this toy as an eductional gift for my friend's almost 4 year old son. As part of his educational therapy they have been using Playmobil toys and this plane set was a good addition. All of the little details really help him understand real life activities.

It's a great toy, but the newer design has flaws

I bought the Playmobil plane for my sons at Christmas and it's been a toy that they come back to again and again. Lots of little details have been put in so that it's really fun to play with. The plan has seats for a pilot and co-pilot, seating for 5 passengers, the cutest little toilet with a basin and even a roll of toilet paper and a separate cargo area.

As with all the Playmobil toys there is some assembly required and this was surprisingly complicated for such an apparently simple toy. Putting the windows in was a little tricky, but easy enough once you got the knack of it.

One problem with the plane is that the wheels and the engines don't stay on very well. They fall off ALL the time. While they're easy enough to put back on, it's annoying. The other thing that I don't like about the plane is that it's so large and it doesn't really break down to be stored away. (The wings come off as one large piece, but the main body is still very long). We've ended up keeping it in the garage because it was too large to store on any of my son's shelves or even in a storage crate.

Otherwise it's a great toy. Add the airport and you'll keep them happy for hours.

Cute plane

My sons love planes so I thought this would be great; they are 2 and 3. It comes in several pieces and takes about 30 minutes to put together. It's cute but for older kids that won't take it apart. I spent all that time putting it together and my son took it apart in 30 seconds and continues to do so everytime I put it back together. I'd be better off with a pre-assembled plane (but I couldn't find one). Eventually they kind of left it alone but still missing several pieces. Nice toy but just know that going into it. I will (one day) put it back together and hot glue it.

This Playmobil Jet is for transporting passengers and cargo. Seats can be dismantled to make space for cargo. Lots of space for cargo. Includes lavatory facilties. Roof is removeable. Doors open. Adults are 2.95 inches tall and the child is 2.05 inches tall. Great for imaginative play.
