Rocky Road

The reviewer finds the Rocky Road tasty, and would buy it again if it weren't for the allure of the other flavors, namely cookies and cream. He finds that the shake mixes well, and is very good with Rocky Road ice cream, although if one is health conscious, perhaps the half calorie vanilla would also suffice.

As far as how the drink affects muscle building, the reviewer thinks that this market is blown out of proportion, and that he should somehow start selling products to the masses. The reviewer's target market would be people like himself: customers who understand the science behind muscle building and hypertrophy, but are lacking in the aspect that they cannot stick to a regimen for more than four months at a time, and find their progress deflating soon afterwards, only to be built up again after a month of lethargy. That is where the hypertrophic products kick in for INSTANT GRATIFICATION! It's a lot like flipping a very heavy remote that give your hands calluses, except that it's more expensive, and you can fool yourself into thinking that what you're doing is the right thing to do. For a single man with a good job and no children, perhaps it is not a bad thing to do. The reviewer will continue to seek this ever elusive 'perfect body', yet in a half hearted and uneconomical way. In the mean time, he will drink Rocky Road shakes and remind himself that 80 percent of the world lives in poverty, only to forget that fact in the succeeding moments.

Definitely worth a purchase.

I bought this after trying GNC's whey protein. This protein blows it out of the water. For starters, I know that lots of people say it, but the taste is phenomenal. I have the rocky road and I plan on trying the cookies and cream flavor next time. Also, I definitely feel as though it is helping with my weight lifting. Not like it's a miracle supplement, but it helps me between one set of lifting and the next, giving me faster recovery times than I am used to, and helping to get my protein uptake up to what it should be. Anyway, it is good, and it is worth it.

Its OK.

It mixes easily and doesn't leave any unmixed chunks of powder behind. It seems to be a quality powder. But the flavor of this one isn't that great. I'm still not sure why they named the flavor Rocky Road.
