This is thr best hazelnutcoffee I've ever tasted! I was very surprised at the rich, smooth flavor. A lot better than Gevalia which is a lot more expensive! This coffee keeps its flavor very well - opened bags in the refrigerator, unopened ones in the freezer.
I was a little concerned that the medium grind would be too coarse for me, but it was just right. I will definitely buy this item again.
Good flavored coffee
I wasn't sure what to expect of the name Mr. Coffee, which in my upbringing meant bland, weak American coffee. However, this is not bad coffee. It is arabica from Brazil. I enjoy it and others commented that it smells and tastes quite nice. It is as advertised medium roast with nice hazelnut flavor - not too much, not too little. If the price is right (as it was for my purchase), I'd recommend this.
While this hazelnutcoffee has a pretty good aroma, both while brewing and as you smell it in your cup, the taste is somewhat disappointing. I am a great fan of flavored coffee, particularly hazelnut and vanilla flavors, and I use them most of the time. This is my first encounter with Mr. Coffee's version, and it doesn't remind me of hazelnut; it's pleasant enough but not that flavor. It is a fairly representative medium grind, suitable for my morning coffee. You can't argue with the price if you use the coupon, which gets this down to $4.25 a pound, but I've tasted better hazelnut flavored coffee, and while we will use this coffee, I doubt that I will purchase it again.
