Outstanding

WOW. This case is -in my opinion- the best case for the Palm Treo. I own a Palm Treo 700p and after trying 4 other cases, this one is the best. Period. What makes this case so nice is that it is very slim, in fact adds very little bulk to the phone. There are some minor quivers I have with this case, mainly the grip and it does restrict some button movement. Let me get to it, here are the Pros and Cons of the case. However, with some minor problems this is an outstanding case for your Palm Treo. Expensive, but worth every penny.

Pros:

Very slim - I wasn't sure if the case would live up to the hype. But as soon as I clicked it together I was impressed. Adds very little bulk to your phone and looks very cool. I did not have a problem assembling my case, it went without a hitch. I also found it comes apart easily. I recommend buying a new battery cover for your phone that has a reset hole in it. Makes life much easier.

Adds Grip - If you own a Palm Treo you know they are the slickest phones out there. Brand new phones are so slippery it is scary. You have to have a better grip on your phone. Although, this case does add some grip I would like there to be more. It's a matte rubberized case and it does add a better grip to your phone.

Pocket Power - This case slides easily in and out of your pocket. In addition to adding a little grip, this is the perfect all-a-round solution.

Reset Hole - Comes with a reset hole. Combined with an additional Seidio battery case you have the best solution for your phone.

Screen Protector - If you don't have a screen protector for your phone I would recommend one. I use the Boxwave ClearTouch Crystal screen protector. Does not tint or filter your screen. Highly recommended.

Cons:

The case does restrict some of the movement of the 5-way navigator, Power/End, and the Send Button. What I mean by this, there is some restriction on the very tops of these buttons. I do not have large fingers so it's not a problem. This is a very minor button restriction; some people might not notice it. But because I just came from using a Skin Case, I noticed a little button restriction. Again, this is only on the very tops of the 5-way navigator, Power/End, and the Send button.

The case could allow for a better grip. But like I mentioned it does grip better than just the plain phone. I do not see how anyone could go without a case for the phone; again Palm Treo's are super slippery.

There have been some complaints about the durability of these cases. Some report the corners no longer snapping into place. But I have not had this problem, so we will see. Some cradles might not work with this case. I don't use a cradle and synching works fine. If you purchase an optional battery cover, with a reset hole, you will never have to take apart your case, causing wear and tear. So, hopefully problem eliminated.

Other Options

Finally, if you are looking for additional cases for your Palm Treo, I can recommend two alternatives. I found the very thin Skin Cases work excellent. But they do stretch out and are hard to put in your pocket. But if you can find a quality one they work very good.

Another Palm Case I use is the "Body Glove Scuba Cell Phone Case for Palm". This case is perfect for outdoor work where you really need the extra protection. It's an inexpensive case that will protect your palm from abuse. The Body Glove Fits nicely, and you can use your palm with the case, with some very minor keyboard restrictions. It also has a very functional belt clip. Great case, great price!
