This is a great deal to get for the AVG anti-virus protection, cd is always outdated, but you can update it and then you have 2 years of protection for a great price.

I've had a few programs (Norton, etc.) - AVG is doing the job with less bothersome pop ups, alerts, etc. Yes, I'm running just a bit slower when AVG is checking files, programs and downloads - but that was to be expected.

GREAT PRODUCT! Actually THE BEST Anti-Virus I have found. Has Norton beat hands down. Don't worry about it being an older version. AVG will upgrade for free. Does not slow down my computer and is not intrusive.
