FINALLY WE HAVE A DATE!!!!!

Well here it is ladies and gentlemen....The news is in..............in case you have not heard....ALL IN THE FAMILY Season 7 will be out October 5th!!!!! YEAH!!!!!
So reserve your copy cause now that Sony finally took their heads out of their butts and finally released this news now all we need to do is wait for THE JEFFERSONS cause their next. I can't wait until they finally release Season 7. So I thought I'd let you all know.

I am so glad they are releasing season 7. Then they need to release season 8 and 9. Then They need to release the remaining seasons of Archie Bunker's Place!!! We all have waited so loooonnnggg!!! This is the best show and should be available to it's biggest fans!!!! Thank you!!!!!

Too Little Too Late

While it is definately about time that the last 3 seasons are at least beginning to be released, it is too little too late for me. Seasons 1-6 were released almost a year to the day from each other, beginning in 2001. Season 7 SHOULD have been released over 3 years ago. With no word from Sony on why there was a delay, I tried contacting them. After a few failed attempts, I finally got an e-mail through asking why it's taking so long, and what was going on? The only response I got was "We have no plans right now to release the last 3 seasons." That was it. All I wanted was an honest answer, and I got a form letter reponse. So, I searched online and got the last 3 seasons, PLUS, the complete Archie Bunker's Place, (all 4 seasons), and as a bonus, 8 episodes of Gloria. This was from a private collection and the quality was quite good. I have no reason to buy these anymore. Sorry, but you kept us waiting, gave no reason, and I personally didn't want to wait anymore. SONY dropped the ball HUGE on this one, and I'm glad I don't have to put any money in their pockets for this.

Thank you Shout Factory

I know it's been said by many others, but I had almost given up hope of seeing another season of the best sitcom in American TV history ever being released. It was a long wait, but this is most welcome news. It makes my day. Thank you Shout Factory. Any chance you can pick up The Bob Newhart Show and finish that one, too? Barney Miller? What other neglected classics am I forgetting?

Classic episode from season 7

The episode on here of the Christmas dinner with one of Archie's friends who has lost a son in Viet Nam & one of Mike's friends who is a draft dodger & has entered illegally to be here at this dinner was a true classic for it's time. Nobody would talk about this subject (draft dodgers) then except this show. Whatever your political views..watch this one with an open mind, but get out the kleenex. Archie is never more powerful than here.
