highly recommended

Helps kids who are afraid in the dark

My 4-yr.old son loves his "Power Monkey" (had it for about 5 ms.). He is afraid in the dark and I told him that monsters are afraid of the Power Monkey's lights. Even though he says that the monkey is not real, it still makes him feel stronger and he makes sure that it is switched on once he is in bed at night. It definately helps him go to sleep on his own without calling me constantly (he also has a "Sleep Sheep On The Go" that plays soothing nature sounds). I did not give the monkey 5 stars because it is white and it can't be washed (I guess against dust mites one could pop it into the freezer for 24 hrs without the batteries in it, but I have not done it yet). So far it is still very clean because my son only uses it at night. I recommend the GloE Monkey because it helps my son feel more secure than a nightlight when he is alone in his bed at night.

Oooo Oooo

Bought this one and a 12" bear before Christmas when the price was can I say a STEAL! Gave the monkey to my youngest she calls it her "Ooo Ooo" and loves it. The glowing colors are great and she only has to push the button once and its on for 1/2 hour while she settles down to sleep. I think this is great even for the under 3 crowd if you were to set it on a dresser and let is glow for them at bedtime. LOVE IT!!! Not sure how the white fur will be for dirt but at the price I purchased it no problem. Thanks amazon.

A surprise gift

I am giving this to my 18 mo old granddaughter who we're taking on a Hawaiian cruise in March. I thought it might be fun for her to have a new toy. It is not intended for children this small but seems well made and will be given to her with her parents or me present so should pose no problem. It is quite cute and I think the "glow" feature makes it unique.

Great for Toddlers!

We bought these for our twin toddlers to sleep with.

We bought one Monkey, one Dog, & one Bear (for neighbor baby during the week)

They love them all!

They learned how to operate the off/on switch quickly, and it is a favorite in our household.

The glow is not too obnoxious, and the batteries are tucked away inside so not a hazard.
